Settling-In
Bringing a new plant home is exciting - but it’s also an adjustment period! Your plant may need a little time to adapt after shipping and a change in environment.
The Adjustment Period
Travel and new surroundings can be stressful for plants., It’s completely normal to see:
-
Minor leaf yellowing or drooping
-
Slight soil displacement
-
Minor cosmetic damage
-
A pause in new growth
Give your plant 2-3 weeks to settle before repotting or making big changes in light, soil, or water routine.

Light & Environment
Start your plant in a bright, indirect light location unless otherwise specified for its variety. Keep away from vents, drafts, or sudden temperature changes while it adjusts.

Watering
Resist the urge to water immediately unless the soil feels very dry. Many plants prefer to dry slightly between waterings - follow your plant’s care tips on our website for best results.

Patience Pays Off
With a little patience and gentle care, most plants bounce back beautifully after their journey. Remember, yellowing or a few lost leaves is part of the natural adjustment process. Focus on the new growth that follows - it’s a good sign your plant feels at home!
