1. General Use​​

This site and all content are intended for individuals age 18 and older.  You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.  Any misuse of the Site, including attempts to harm, disrupt, or manipulate its functionality, is strictly prohibited.

2. Products & Availability

We specialize in curated tropical houseplants, plant care products and accessories.  Each plant is unique - natural variations in color, size, or shape are expected.  All listings are subject to availability and may be limited in quantity.  We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue products at any time without notice.

3. Pricing & Payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.  We make every effort to display accurate information, but errors may occasionally occur.  We reserve the right to cancel or adjust any order containing pricing, typographical, or system errors.  Payment must be completed at checkout for orders to be processed.

4. Orders, Shipping & Handling

All orders are fulfilled directly through Urban Jungle NC from Salisbury, North Carolina.  We currently ship within the United States only.   Certain states - including Alaska, Arizona, California, and Hawaii - may require special handling or documentation for live plants.  Orders placed with these or similar delivery destinations that cannot be fulfilled due to restrictions will be refunded.

 

Shipping timelines and rates are displayed at checkout.  We limit shipping to early-week windows (typically, Monday-Wednesday) to protect plant health during transit.  We take great care in packaging every order, but minor cosmetic imperfections may occur during transit.  See our Healthy Arrival Promise and Settling-In-Policy for additional details.

5. Returns, Replacements, & Cancellations

Due to the nature of live plants, all sales are final.  We do not accept cancellations once and order has been placed.  If your order arrives damaged or unhealthy, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery with unpacking video (beginning prior to opening shipping box) and photos of damage so we may assess and, when appropriate, provide a replacement or credit.  We reserve the right to refuse replacement or refund requests that do not meet our video and photo documentation requirements or fall outside of our stated timeframe.

6. Linked Platforms & Palmstreet

We may offer links to third-party platforms such as Palmstreet for additional listings, purges, or live sales.  These platforms operate independently and Urban Jungle NC is not responsible for their terms, policies, or actions.  Please review each platform’s own terms before purchasing or engaging.

7. Community Engagement

By engaging with Urban Jungle NC - whether through our Site, live sales, giveaways, or social media accounts - you agree to our Community Guidelines, including:

• Be respectful and kind to others.

• Do not post offensive, defamatory, or harmful content.

• Giveaway participation is open only to eligible entrants as stated in each post.

• We reserve the right to remove comments or block users at our discretion.

Participation in any giveaways or promotions constitutes agreement to its specific rules and conditions.​

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, photos, videos, and logos is owned by or licensed to Urban Jungle NC, LLC and protected under U.S. copyright and trademark law.  You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from our Site or brand materials without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

All products are sold “as-is”.  While we take every measure to ensure quality and accuracy, we cannot guarantee the survival or continued health of plants after delivery due to variations in care and environment.  Urban Jungle NC, LLC shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our Site or products.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.  Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts locations in Rowan County, NC.

11. Updates & Revisions

We may update these Terms are any time.  The most current version will always be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date noted above.  Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
